Double Clutch Translation

ため息から歩き出した 乾いた靴の音が重なって
街の音に馴染んでいく 朝の顔を僕は作っていく
Tameiki kara arukidashita Kawaita kutsu no oto ga kasanatte
Machi no ne ni najindeiku Asa no kao wo boku ha tsukutteiku
I sighed and walked, the sounds from my dry shoes overlapping.
I've become familiar with the sounds of the city, and I trace over the face
of the morning.

 

競い合うように歩く人達 僕もそれに習い足を進めていく
急いでいる訳じゃないけど 歩幅合わせた はみ出さないように
Kisoiau you ni aruku hitotachi Boku mo sore ni naraiashi wo susumeteiku
Isoideiru wake ja nai kedo Hohaba awaseta hamidasanai you ni
People walk with each other like they're in competition... I too walk on
like that.
There's no reason to be in such a hurry, but they hurry on to keep themselves
from being crowded out.

 

それが僕の居場所なんだから
Sore ga boku no ibasho nan da kara
Because that is the place I belong,

 

僕を見てる空がなんとなく曇って見えた ふいに足を止めてた
これから先ずっと こんな晴れない空を見上げ 歩いていくの?
ただただ時間は流れていく この瞬間も
Boku wo miteru sora ga nantonaku kumotte mieta Fui ni ashi wo tometeta
Kore kara saki zutto Konna harenai sora wo miage Aruiteiku no?
Tada tada jikan ha nagareteiku Kono shunkan mo
The sky I looked up to has somehow become so cloudy I can't see it, and
I suddenly stopped walking.
I wonder that that if I raise my eyes to this unclear sky, I'll walk on again?
Time just goes on, even this moment.

Kaeru no nara Kawareru nara Mae dake wo miteta ano toki no you ni
Jibun no koto wo utagai mo shinai Mae dake wo miteta ano toki no you ni
If I change, if I could change, I'd look at what's before me, like I did before.
I won't doubt myself, I'll look at what's before me, like I did before.

 

今からでも取り戻せるかな もう一度信じてみたい
Ima kara demo torimodoseru ka na Mou ichido shinjitemitai
I wonder if I could even go back. I want to try believing once more.

 

駆け抜けていく風を 全身で受け止め 自分の身体 存在を確かめた
息を吹き返した 僕はどこへでも行けるだろう 僕が望むように行けるだろう
Kakenuketeiku kaze wo Zenmi de uketome Jibun no karada sonzai wo tashikameta
Iki wo fukikaeshita Boku ha doko he demo yukeru darou Boku ga nozomu you
ni ikeru darou
I take on the wind that runs against me with my whole being, to confirm
the existence of my own body.
I let out a long breath. I wonder how long I can go on living just to wish
for something.

きっと大人な顔で笑ってたんだろう 僕がなりたくなかった顔で
Aa Anna ni iyagatteta kuse ni Aa nomikomu koto atari mae ni shite
Kitto otona na kao de waratteta n darou Boku ga naritakunakatta kao de
Ah, that habit of hating like that... ah, of course, I swallow it back.
Surely, there's a smile on my adult face... a face I don't want to have.

 

今を生きてくこと 今を感じること 怖いなんて思わないでいい
失敗してもただ納得できるほうがいいさ 悔やみたくはない

The fact that I'm alive now, the fact that I can feel now... it's okay if
you're not afraid of it.
Even if I fail, I can still understand. I don't want you to console me.
