Heaven’s Atlas Translation

A translation of Jupiter’s “Heaven’s Atlas” from their album “Classical Element”.

天を翔け夢は栄光の輝きを放つ
Sora¹ wo kake yume ha eikou no kagayaki wo hanatsu
The dream soaring in the sky emits the brilliance of glory.

 

望みに溢れた意思さえも
絶望へと飲まれ揺らいで行く
塞がれた情景と明かされる現実
叫びは灰に染まる
Nozomi ni afureta ishi sae mo
Zetsubou he to nomareyuraide iku
Fusagareta joushiki to Akasareru genjitsu
Sakebi ha hai ni somaru
Even the intents overflowing with hope
Tremble and are swallowed in despair.
In the shut-away scene and the reality that is revealed,
Screams are dyed to ash.

 

誰もが閉ざした心の中の
扉を開いた先には
様々な色彩の 未だ見ぬ自分へと
楽園が待っている
Daremo ga tozashita kokoro no naka no
Tobira wo hiraita saki ni ha
Samazama na shikisai no Mada minu jibun he to
Rakuen ga matteiru
Before the doors of the heart that is
Shut off to everyone are opened,
There is a varicoloured you that is yet to be seen.
Paradise is waiting.

 

羽ばたけあなたの自由な空へ
遮るものなど何も無い
もう後悔せず どんな過ちも
恐れず突き進め
Habatake anata no jiyuu na sora he
Saegiru mono nado nani mo nai
Mou koukai sezu Donna ayamachi mo
Osorezu tsukisusume
You flap your wings, flying to the free sky,
And there is nothing to block your way.
Have no more regrets, no matter what the fault,
So push on without fearing anything.

 

求めよさらば与えられる
答え胸に刻み忘れないで
Motome yo saraba ataerareru
Kotae mune ni kizami wasurenai de
If you seek it, it shall be given.
So that you won't forget, carve the answer into your chest.

 

挑み続けるその志が
宇宙を大きく広げる
こんなにも傍にある 可能性の鍵
確かに伝えるから
Idomitsuzukeru sono kokorozashi ga
Uchuu wo ookiku hirogeru
Konna ni mo soba ni aru Kanousei no kagi
Tashika ni tsutaeru kara
The will that continues to contend
Spreads out grandly across the universe.
Even so, the lock of possibility beside us
Will surely be given.

 

羽ばたけあなたの自由な空へ
遮るものなど何も無い
信じた未来を 迷わず描いて
掴み取れ
Habatake anata no jiyuu na sora he
Saegiru mono nado nani mo nai
Shinjita ashita² wo Mayowazu egaite
Tsukamitore
You flap your wings, flying to the free sky,
And there is nothing to block your way.
I'll grasp tightly that future I believed in
That I  painted without error.

 

天を翔け夢は栄光の輝きを放つ
地図は何処までも広がり続ける 限り無い世界で
Sora wo kake yume ha eikou no kagayaki wo hanatsu
Chizu ha dokomade mo hirogaritsuzukeru Kagirinai sekai de
The dream soaring in the sky emits the brilliance of glory.
The map continues to spread out  over the limitless world.

Notes
1. “Ten” (“heaven”) is written, but Zin sings “sora” (“sky”).
2. “Mirai” (“future”) is written while Zin sings “ashita” (“tomorrow”).
