追憶の破片 Translation

A translation of Malice Mizer’s “Tsuioku no Kakera” from their album “Voyage ~sans retour~”.

僕の思考は次第に勾配を増す
闇の螺旋の中に砕け散り空へと落ちていく
深く戸惑う心の隙間を舞ながら
言葉を探して僕の罪がまた始まる
微笑み合いぼやけていく姿だけ浮かべて
足早に通り過ぎる言葉さえ見えない
少しだけ抱きしめた嘘の空を
追憶の破片は鈍色に霞んでいく
無言の悲鳴に身を震わせる何かの終わりと
色褪せた記憶だけ抱えてあの空へ落ちていく

Mugon no himei ni mi wo furuwaseru nanika no owari to
Iroaseta kioku dake daete ano sora he ochiteiku
My thoughts are slowly sloping
Into the spiral of darkness, Falling into a smashed sky.
As the crevices of my deeply-troubled heart dance,
I search for words. My sins start again.
Only thinking of your blurring form that smiled with me,
I can't see the words that quickly pass me by.
Hold me for just a bit longer in the sky of lies.
The fragments of my recollections blur into dark grey,
And my body trembles with silent screams. When it all ends,
I'll hold only the faded memories close, and fall into that sky.

消えかけの蝋燭のように眠りに落ちた
古い瞬きが光を放つのに耳をたてる
少しだけ抱きしめた嘘の空を
誰も今までの惨烈な軌跡など知らない
道徳がぼやけていく「人」と詐称する僕は
豊かな黒い色彩を契れた指でなぞり合う
追憶の欠片は鈍色に霞んで行く無言の
悲鳴に身を震わせる何かの終わりと
色褪せた記憶だけ抱えてあの空へ墜ちて行く

Yutaka na kuroi shikisai wo hikareta yubi de nazoriau
Tsuioku no kakera ha nibiiro ni kasundeiku mugon no
Himei ni mi wo furuwaseru nanika no owari to
Iroaseta kioku dake daete ano sora he ochiteiku
Like a candle that slowly melts away, I'll fall asleep.
Though the blink of my old eyes sheds light, I'm listening.
No one knows the cruelty I've borne up to now.
Misrepresented by people whose morals have become dim,
I trace you with these fingers pledged to the rich blackness.
