Romancia Translation

A translation of Lareine’s “Romancia” from their album “Blue Romance ~Yasashii Hanatachi no Kyousou~”. It was also included on “Reine de Fleur”.

Ike ha kimi wo tsurete futari no kyori wo hanashiteku
Shizuka na nami... tsumetai kaze... yoru to omoi ga fukasugita
The lake takes you away, driving distance between us.
The quiet waves... the cold wind... the night and the feelings are too deep.

 

このままじゃ僕は眠れない
Kono mama ja boku ha nemurenai
Like this, I can't sleep.

 

君を想い度に僕は何も出来ずに
ただ揺れる木の葉の様に不安で
今, 震えるほど小さな声は風に消えてく
これが僕が書いた本ならいいのに
Kimi wo omoi tabi ni boku ha nani mo dekizu ni
Tada yureru ki no ha no you ni fuan de
Ima, furueru hodo chiisa na koe ha kaze ni kieteku
Kore ga boku ga kaita hon nara ii no ni
Whenever I think of you, I can't do anything.
I just tremble with unease, like the leaves of a tree.
Now, my small, shaking voice disappears in the wind.
If this were a book I had written, it would be fine.

Mori ni kieboshi to odoru yuki no you na kimi no kao ha
Naitete mo, waratete mo shinkirou no you ni mieta yo
Like the stars that disappear in the forest, and the dancing snow,
Your face, no matter if it's crying or smiling, seems like a mirage.

 

最後まで逢えなくて
言いた事も何も言えなくて
Saigo made aenakute
Iita koto mo nani mo ietakute
I can't meet you until the end.

Kuzureteku... boku ha kono mama de
Like this... I'll crumble.

 

「運命の二人」 になるそんな星はもう流れて
砂時計の底に眠り僕を見て笑ってた
"Unmei no futari" ni naru sonna hoshi ha mou nagarete
Sunadokei no soko ni nemuri boku wo mitewaratteta
The star that would make us "destined for each other" has already fallen.
You see me sleeping in the bottom of the hourglass and smile.

 

偶然の帰り道で僕は幻を見てのか?
楽しそうにはしゃいでいた...
Guuzen no kaerimichi de boku ha maboroshi wo mite no ka?
Tanoshisou ni hashaideita...
Will I see the illusion on the chance road home?
It seems like fun to frolic along it.
