CODA Translation

A translation of the GazettE’s “CODA” from their album “BEAUTIFUL DEFORMITY”. This is a summary piece like “DIM SCENE” from “DIM”, where lines correspond to tracks from the album. In this case, the lines are in track order (with an extra line that explains the overarching idea of the album).

本質を忘れ掴む白が正しいのなら何よりも深い黒に

A beautiful appearance.
Five shadows crawl across a malformed box.
Beastlike, ugly emotions won't be buried.

Providence is born from devouring one another.
Hiding your true nature, you become the lie.
Silent rain and fading temperature.
Reincarnation blooms on a calm hill.
Memories falling into a sea of loss.
Sprouting wings, wicked thoughts cling to my skull.
These footprints from cradle to here know nothing of love.
If losing your true nature to grasp white is correct, you'll turn blacker than anything else.
Under the square sky, upon the earth where corpses sleep, are flowers.
Beautiful deformity to dazzling darkness.
