クロスカウンターを狙え Translation

A translation of Matenrou Opera’s “Cross-counter wo Nerae” from their album “AVALON”. I looked up the term “cross-counter” as I had heard it but didn’t know where it was from and learned that it’s a boxing term, which helped the second stanza make a lot more sense as I was working on it. The title, literally translated, would be more like “aim your cross-counter”, but this sounds a bit strange, so I decided to go with something that sounds a bit better that implies it’s aimed.

Chigau kai? Mattou na kotoba wo kabuseru
Wakatte yo Wakatte yo Mendou ha gomen nanda
