良い事と悪い事の数は
同じだと 言うけれど
単純なシステムの日々さえ
良く出来たmethodology
Yoi koto to warui koto no kazu ha
Onaji da to Iu keredo
Tanjun na system no hibi sae
Yoku dekita methodology
You say the number of good things
And number of bad things is the same, but
Even in the days of that simplistic system,
The methodology worked well.

 

そこに足して引いて掛けて
ひとは皆 それぞれに足掻いたりするけど
眠ってるときが
一番 幸せだったりする
Soko ni tashite hiitekakete
Hito ha mina sorezore ni agaitari suru kedo
Nemutteru toki ga
Ichiban Shiawase dattari suru
All the people that were drawn there
Are struggling, but
When they sleep
Is the one time they are the happiest.

 

もし私が神様なら
バランスをちょっとだけ傾け
最後にはプラスになってしまうような
甘くゆるやかな道に変えたい
Moshi watashi ga kamisama nara
Balace wo chotto dake katamuke
Saigo ni plus ni natte shimau you na
Amaku yuruyaka na michi ni kaetai
If I were God,
I'd tilt the balances a little more.
That seems like it would be a positive thing in the end.
I want to change the path to be more lenient.

 

近道を一つ見つけたなら
後から遠回り?
幸せの観覧車はぐるり
まわるから励みになる
Chikamichi wo hitotsu mitsuketa nara
Ato kara toomawari?
Shiawase no kanransha ha gururi
Mawaru kara hagemi ni naru
If you can find a shortcut,
Will you be able to make your way up from the back?
The Ferris wheel of happiness is turning,
And its revolution becomes encouragement.

 

そこにひとつまみの夢を
乗せながら ゴンドラはゆっくりと動くの
悲しい記憶も
一番上にきたらさようなら
Soko ni hitotsumami no yume wo
Nosenagara Gondola ha yukkuru to ugoku no
Kanashii kioku mo
Ichiban ue ni kitara sayounara
While riding the dream of easy victory there,
The gondola swings slowly.
If the memories of sadness come to this high place,
I'll bid them goodbye.

 

もし私が神様でも
「試練も鍛錬」だと与えて
次に私を待っている輝くもの
両手に抱くまで 旅は続くの
Moshi watashi ga kamisama de mo
"Shiren mo tanren" da to ataete
Tsugi ni watashi wo motteiru kagayaku mono
Ryoute ni daku made Tabi ha tsuzuku no
If I were God,
I would bestow "trials as discipline".
Then, I would hold the shining things I have
Tightly in both hands and continue my journey.
