A translation of Kamijo’s “Yamiyo no Lion” from his single of the same name.

Notes
1. “Yamiyo” actually means “dark night” so this should be “lion of dark night”, but since Kamijo uses just “night lion” both on the cover and in the lyrics, I kept it for continuity.
2. “Fauve” is a few different things in French. It can be a tawny colour (like a lion’s colour), but it can also mean a big dangerous cat… such as a lion.
3. “Tategami” (“mane”) is written but Kamijo sings “kami” (“hair”). Since he uses the same kanji earlier and says “tategami”, I kept it as “mane.”
