INCUBUS Translation

DOGMA

I cannot get out away now from the maze

Un, deux, trois
Un, deux, trois
Genjitsu to akumu Kousa suru yoru ga
Zaratsuita tan1 ni boushitsu no oku hawasu
Mezamenai nou ni Kobiri tsuiteiru
Sugishi hi no zan'ei Ai naki hibi
One, two, three
The night mixes reality and nightmares,
And a rough tongue creeps along the lost memories.
The traces of days gone by, days without love,
Cling to my brain that won't wake.

"Kimi" ga hoshigaru mono
I don't really understand
What it is "you" want.
I'm frightened even now by the reverse malaise.

**I arise to broken nights

Yume ha yuuutsu
Wasuretai to negau tabi ni omoidasu
Kienai sono kage ni
Saa Mabuta wo tojite
Dreams are depression.
Every time I wish to forget this fact, I only remember.
Now, I close my eyes
To that shadow that won't disappear.

God, is this a sign
Tell me my crime
Is it my fate to suffer

Manekarezaru mono
The thing I was compelled to summon...

Un, deux, trois
Un, deux, trois
Gouyoku to kyuuai Shinteki gaishou
Genjitsu to akumu Tachikirenai
Mezamenai nou ni Kobiri tsuiteiru
Sugishi hi no zan'ei Ai naki hibi to yugamu
One, two, three
Greed and courting, emotional trauma...
I can't separate reality and nightmares.
My brain that won't wake is distorted by
The traces of days gone by, days without love, that cling to it.

*repeat
**repeat

Abiru hodo no kanashiki oku
Me wo fusete mo kienai no ha
Owari no nai yume ni
Jibun ga mieta kara
The sad recollections I bathe in
Won't disappear, even if I hide my eyes,
Because, in this neverending dream,
I can see myself.

These repeated dreams won't pass me by
It's a nightmare and a lie

I can't change fate
Even if I die

So fxxk the why
And get lost

I cannot get out away now from the maze

Notes
1. The kanji written is "shita" ("tongue"), but Ruki instead sings "tan", which is a possible Japanese pronunciation of the English word "tongue". Normally the pronunciation would be "tangu" or "tongu", but leaving off the -gu at the end sounds more like a normal/native English pronunciation. I've gone with this since it makes the most sense to me, but if I'm wrote please let me know!
