Rhapsody of the Darkness Translation

A translation of Versailles’ “Rhapsody of the Darkness” from their digital release single of the same name. It was later included on their final album “Versailles”.

The serpent of ivy tightens
Only around that which is already breaking.
Even while in this fading state of consciousness, my sins are counted.

Ah Kirei na omoide ni mo Gisei ga aru koto
Nani mo shirazu ni kamen de kakushita Boku wo nomikomu ga ii
Ah, there was sacrifice even in the lovely memories.
Without knowing anything, I hid behind a mask. If only it would completely
