一つの時代が終焉を迎え    人々は無様に    この有様となり
「天の声が僕等を衝き動かしていた」と言い訳して…
Hitotsu no jidai ga shuuen wo mukae Hitobito ha buzama ni Kono arisama to nari
"Ten no koe ga bokura wo tsukiugokashiteita" to iiwake shite...
Facing the end of this one era, people become this unsightly way.
And excuse it, saying, "The voice of heaven is urging us"...

純粋な生命は終焉を迎え    汚れた奴等が増殖されてゆく
連鎖反応のように    未来への希望は持てなくなる
Junsui na inochi¹ ha shuuen wo mukae Kegareta yatsura ga zoushoku sareteyuku
Rensahan'nou no you ni Mirai he no kibou ha motenaku naru
As the pure lives end, the corrupted ones will increase.
Like a chain reaction, hopes for the future slowly disappear.

「矛盾した世界に別れを告げようか」
犠牲なのか…    光の論なのか…
裁定が下される前に    廻り廻りゆく白羽の矢を
立てて    突き刺して    あいつ等諸共断未魔へ
生まれて来なければ    罪へ亡びはしなかった
"Mujun shita sekai ni wakare wo tsugeyou ka?"
Ikenie² na no ka... Hikari no wa³ na no ka...
Seitei ga kudasareru mae ni Mawari mawariyuku shiraha no ya wo
Tatete Tsukisashite Aitsura morotomo danmatsuma he
Umaretekonakereba Tsumi he horobi ha shinakatta
"Shall we bid farewell to this inconsistent world?"
Am I a sacrifice...? Is that the doctrine of light...?
Before a judgement can be passed, the spinning white-feathered arrow will
Thrust in and pierce them all together with the undecided devil.
If I hadn't been born, I wouldn't have perished in sin.

Norowareta ima⁴ ha Mirai/sasu mo kako mo egakiutsusu
This cursed present paints out the future, and the past.

Notes
1. “Seimei” (“life, existence”) is written, but Shaura sings “inochi” (“life”).
2. “Gisei” (“sacrifice, scapegoat”) is written, while “ikinie”, meaning the same thing, is sung.
3. “Wa” (“loop, circle”) is written, but “ron” (“discourse, doctrine”) is sung. The kanji for the two are very similar.
4. “Genzai” (“now, present time”) is written, Shaura sings “ima”, which means the same thing.
