Machibuseta kanjou ga
Futeki na emi de hairikomu
Douka suru kioku ni
Mujun ga umareta toshite mo
The emotions that ambushed you
Penetrate that fearless smile.
Even if inconsistency is born
In the adapting memories,
The winds of revolution blow in your heart.
Surely the door is already before your eyes.
Dream in your Heart
Atarashii jibun wo mitomete Arukidasu yuuki wo
Yume to yume wo awaseta nara Genjitsu ga umareru
Dream in your heart
Accept your new self, and the courage to walk on.
If you put your dreams together, reality will be born.
Dream in your Heart
Daremo ga kizuiteiru
Shoujo ga jibun to tatakai
Namida wo nagasu tabi ni
Kirei ni kawariyuku koto ni
Everyone realises that
Girls struggle with themselves,
And that every time their tears flow,
Those tears change to beauty.
The winds of revolution blow in your heart.
Surely the exit is already before your eyes.
Don't unwittingly condemn your changing self.
Your memories will definitely reach to the important future.
Dream in your Heart
Atarashii jibun wo mitomete Arukidasu yuuki wo
Yume to yume wo awaseta nara Genjitsu ga umareru
Dream in your heart
Accept your new self, and the courage to walk on.
If you put your dreams together, reality will be born.
Dream in your Heart
Notes
I’m trying a new layout!
I believe this song is alternately titled “Dream In Your Heart”, but since that isn’t what the Japanese title is, and when I hear “Dream In Your Heart” my mind flashes back to remember this song that friends often listened to in middle school, like “Dakishimerare nagara”, I translated the Japanese title to say what it actually is.
