秋風に誘われて 辿り着く午後のカフェ
読みかけの恋愛小説に 目を閉じてため息
Akikaze ni sasowarete Tadoritsuku gogo no cafe
Yomikake no renai romance¹ ni Me wo tojite tameiki
Tempted by the autumn wind, I arrive at an afternoon cafe.
Reading the romance novel, I close my eyes and sigh.

 

枯れ葉のカーペット 一人で歩くよ
ポプラの並木道 あの日の面影
Kareha no carpet Hitori de aruku yo
Poplar no namikimichi Ano hi no omokage
I walk alone on the carpet of dried leaves
In the vestige of that day on the poplar-lined street.

秋風に誘われて 迷い込むパリのカフェ
鳴り響の音 僕の元届けて
Akikaze ni sasowarete Mayoikomu Paris no cafe
Narihibiku no oto Boku no moto todokete
Tempted by the wind, I wander along the Paris cafes,
The echoing reaching deep into me.

 

もうきっと冬だよね 君の住む街は
一人で旅立った 君だけシャンゼリゼ
Mou kitto fuyu da yo ne Kimi no sumu Paris² ha
Hitori de tabidatta Kimi dake Champs Elysees
Surely it's already winter there. In Paris where you live,
You travelled alone, the only one on the Champs Elysees.

dyed in love this year.

君から届くエアメール サヨナラの言葉
三年半の愛 落ち葉に変わった
Kimi kara todoku air mail Sayonara no kotoba
Sannenhan no ai Ochiba ni kawatta
The air mail I received from you tells me goodbye.
Our three and a half year love has changed to a fallen leaf.

"PARIS" 二人で夢見た街で 一人生きる愛した人
今 二人で暮らした街で 幸せ願ってるよ
"PARIS" Futari de yumemita machi de Hitori ikiru aishita hito
Ima Futari de kurashita machi de Shiawase negatteru yo
"PARIS" The person I love is living alone in that city where we dreamed together.
