Catharsis Translation

A translation of Versailles’ “Catharsis”, which was released on their major debut album “JUBILEE”. This is a lovely and fast song, full of despair and yet hope, with some of the most beautiful guitar and drumwork. I believe it is also one of their longest songs as far as lyrics are concerned.

欠片を拾い集めてゆく
Shihai kara nogareitari tsuku saki de matsu rakuen
Kakera wo hiroiatsumeteyuku
We arrive at the end of the way to escape from control, and before us waits
paradise.

Hikari to yami no sekai ga Kawarazu meguritsuzuketeiru
Believe that we can meet by chance... continue to wait with yearning emotion. The world of light and dark is continuing on and on, without changing at all.
