ANOMIE Translation

A translation of the title track “ANOMIE” from 摩天楼オペラ (Matenrou Opera)’s debut album, ANOMIE.

I find this to be quite an interesting song. An “anomie” is a sociological phenomenon of instability that happens when a society’s sense of morals and rules breaks down. I think the song is a call that this needs to be changed, and the only way to do it is if we realize that things are wrong and stand up to do what needs to be done.
