Dying-Table Translation

A translation of Kamijo’s “Dying-Table”, the fourth movement from his “Symphony of the Vampire”. I believe the title is meant to be a play on “dining table”.

Please do not steal this translation or use it publicly without credit to me. All rights belong to Kamijo and his label Warner Music Japan.

~.oOOo.~

Symphony of the Vampire

Kohitsuji yo Dinner da!
Omaetachi no himei ha Watashi no apéritif1
O my lambs, it is dinnertime!
Your screams are my apéritif.

Gutsugutsu to nikonda mama Kuchi ni futa wo shitara
Saa wine tsuke ni shiteyarou
I cover the pot as it bubbles and boils.
Come now, let's immerse you in wine.

Mataseta na Jikan da Otawamure da!
Saigo no itoshizuku mo nigasanai
I kept you waiting, didn't I. It's time. This is sport!
I won't let even the very last drop escape me.

Let's me Bite your neck! (Bite!) ×4

I'm hungry! want your blood!
Minority
I'm hungry! want your blood!
Majority
I'm hungry! want your blood!
Kairaku ha Minority
Nugasaretai nee Romantist
I'm hungry! want your blood!
Kairaku ha Majority
Motto motto motto yowasete hoshii
I'm hungry! want your blood!
Pleasure is Minority
You want to be undressed, don't you, romantist?
I'm hungry! want your blood!
Pleasure is Majority
I want to drink, more, more, more!

I want your blood! (Blood!) ×2

Let's me Bite your neck! (Bite!) ×4

Ahhhhh! can't stand !
I'm hungry! want your blood!
Minority
I'm hungry! want your blood!
Majority
Ahhhhh! can't stand !
I'm hungry! want your blood!

Notes
1. “Shokuzenshu” (“apéritif”) is written, but Kamijo uses the French word instead. An apéritif is an alcoholic beverage usually served before a meal to stimulate the appetite.
